Eight more cases of COVID-19 in Nodaway County


MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Nodaway County Health Department has confirmed eight more cases of COVID-19 in the county. The Health Department says the latest cases are six men in their 20s, a woman in her 20s, and a girl in her teens.

Health officials say they're currently working to notify those that have been deemed closed contacts. This now brings the total number of cases in the county up to 124. 49 of the 124 cases are no longer in isolation.

Three patients with underlying medical conditions have been hospitalized, and two have since been released. Health officials continue to urge residents to social distance and practice good hygiene.
